Martyn F. Wilson
W.F. Wilson was founded in Ireland in 1975 by my father, William Frederick Wilson, with one clear purpose: to build exceptional homes and create a better future for his family. I was raised around job sites, learning early that craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work were not optional, they were the standard.
After graduating high school in 1994, I followed the only path I ever truly considered and began my apprenticeship as a Carpenter, Joiner, and Mason. Under my father’s guidance, I developed not only technical skills, but a deep respect for precision, structure, and doing things the right way — even when no one is watching.
Over the years, I progressed from tradesman to mentor, helping train the next generation of craftsmen, many of whom still practice their trade today. That legacy of mentorship and high standards continues to shape how I lead every project.
After moving to Texas through my marriage to my beautiful wife Leslie, I had the privilege of working alongside one of Fort Worth’s most respected builders. That experience allowed me to further refine my understanding of the American custom home market, and the level of service Texas homeowners expect and deserve, allowing W. F. Wilson to be reborn.
